    Scallops: Scallop Saute

    List of Ingredients

    1 pound sea or bay scallops
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1 tablespoon minced parsley
    4 tablespoons butter
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 tablespoons lemon juice

    Recipe

    Wash and dry scallops. If using sea scallops, cut into thirds. In large skillet heat 2 tbl. of butter and add salt and pepper to taste, as well as paprika and garlic. Add enough scallops to cover bottom of skillet without crowding. Cook quickly over high heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Transfer scallops to heated platter; repeat process until all scallops are cooked. In same skillet, place parsley, lemon juice and rest of butter. Heat until melted and pour over cooked scallops.
