    Tuna: Sesame Glazed Tuna

    List of Ingredients

    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 1/2 tablespoons mirin or sherry
    1 tablespoon honey
    2 teaspoons sesame oil
    1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
    1 pound tuna steaks (3/4" thick) cut into 4 pieces
    2 tablespoons sesame seeds

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 450ºF. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, mirin, honey, and sesame oil. Remove and set aside half of mixture for the glaze. Stir vinegar into remaining soy mixture and reserve to use as dipping sauce. Place fish on baking sheet and brush tops with the soy glaze. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake, brushing once or twice with remaining glaze, until fish is opaque and the sesame seeds are lightly toasted, 8-10 minutes. Serve fish with dipping sauce. Serves 4.
