1 pound Ground beef
3/4 cup Chopped onion
1 Clove garlic peeled and
1 can Tomatoes (16 oz)
1 1/2 cups Tomato paste
2 teaspoons Basil
1 teaspoon Oregano
2 teaspoons Salt
8 ounces Lasagne noodles
3 cups Low fat cottag cheese
1 tablespoon Parsley flakes
2 Eggs beaten
3/4 pound Shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup Grated parmesan.
Recipe
Brown beef with onion and garlic. Add tomatoes, tomato paste basil, oregano and salt. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook lasagne noodles. Mix cottage cheese, parsley flakes, and eggs.
In a 9 X 13 inch baking pan, layer half the noodles, cottage cheese mixture, and meat sauce. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with parmisan cheese Bake for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into 12 squares. ( about 3 X 4 inch pieces)
