Tomato: Creamy Tomato Pasta

List of Ingredients
1 pound roma tomatoes, peeled, chopped
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup marsala wine
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
8 ounces sliced mushrooms (fresh)
1 small red onion, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups pasta, prepared as directed
Recipe
In a medium saucepan, combine tomatoes, Marsala wine, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, saute oil and garlic in skillet. Add mushrooms and onions and cook until vegetables are done. Add cream cheese to tomato mixture and stir until all of cheese is melted. Add onions and mushrooms. Blend well. Serve over hot cooked pasta and top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
