    Meat Sauce: Easy Fresh Spaghetti Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    28 ounces crushed peeled tomatoes
    12 ounces tomato paste
    16 ounces tomato sauce
    2 cups hot water -- (2 to 3)
    1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (to taste)
    1/8 teaspoon black pepper
    1 tsp salt -- (1 to 2)
    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1 large onion, diced
    2 cloves garlic -- (2 to 3)

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients except beef, onion, and garlic. Allow to simmer. Brown the beef, onion, and garlic. Drain fat. Spoon beef-onion mixture into sauce. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Serve with spaghetti noodles.
