    Beef: Fresh Tomato, Beef & Bowtie Pasta

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. 80% lean ground beef
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1-1/2 c. uncooked bow tie pasta
    2 TBS. fresh basil, sliced
    3 TBS. Parmesan cheese, grated

    Recipe

    1. In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef and garlic over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking beef up into 3/4-inch crumbles. Pour off drippings.

    2. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes; stir occasionally.

    3. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions. Toss beef mixture and basil with pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.

    YIELD: 4 Servings
