    Clam: Linguine with Clam Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    2 cans whole clams, chopped
    1 clove minced garlic
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 cup heavy cream
    2 tablespoons chopped parsley
    1/4 cup dry sherry
    12 ounces dry linguini

    Recipe

    Cook and chop clams, reserving the broth. Saute garlic in oil and butter until soft. Add sherry and boil for one minute. Stir in reserved clam broth and the cream. Cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Stir in chopped clams, parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Heat through. Cook pasta til tender; then drain and toss in the sauce.
