20 large stuffing pasta shells
6 ounces frozen crabmeat, thawed
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1 tablespoon grated onion
2/3 cup grated provolone
SAUCE:
15 ounces tomato sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 cup chicken broth
3 teaspoons Italian seasoningRecipe
Cook manicotti or shells according to directions on pkg. Mix crabmeat and liquid, cheese (ricotta), walnuts, parsley, and onion. Stuff into shells. Place in a single layer in a 11x7x2 inch baking pan and pour 1/2 the sauce over the shells or manicotti. Sprinkle with provolone and bake at 375ºF for 30 minutes. Serve remaining sauce on the side. Sauce: Mix sauce ingredients and cook for about 15 minutes on simmer.
