Baked: Pasta with Cheddar and Pepperoni

1/2 cup pepperoni, fine diced
1/2 cup fine diced onion
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup orzo
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Saute pepperoni and onion in skillet. Add flour to make a roux. Lower heat and whisk in chicken stock and simmer. Mix in Cheddar cheese until smooth. Boil Orzo until al dente. Drain well and mix with sauce. Put mixture into buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake until golden brown, approx. 30 to 40 minutes.
