    Misc: Rigatoni with Sweet Peas

    List of Ingredients

    16 ounces uncooked rigatoni
    1/4 cup unsalted butter
    2 cups frozen small green peas, thawed
    1/2 cup thin sliced green onions
    1 cup heavy cream
    6 thin slices prosciutto ham, cut thin slices
    salt and pepper
    grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

    Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, melt butter in medium skillet. Add peas and green onions; cook over low heat about 5 minutes or until tender. Add cream and prosciutto; cook about 5 minutes or until heated through. Do NOT boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss hot drained pasta with sauce and sprinkle lightly with cheese. Serves 6-8.
