Seafood: Shrimp & Wine-Sauced Spaghetti

2 Green onions chopped
16 oz Tomatoes
1 t Sugar
1/4 ts Oregano
8 oz Shrimp peeled and cleaned
4 oz Spaghetti hot
1 c Garlic minced (or more)
white wine
1 t Basil
1 d Pepper
1 tb Cornstarch
1 tb Cheese grated romano cheese
Recipe
Cook onion and garlic in 2 t. oil. Add UNDRAINED tomatoes, wine, sugar and seasonings. Cover, simmer 25 min. Add shrimp, return to simmer and cook about 5 min. To tender. Blend cornstarch in 1 T. cold water, stir into shrimp mixture. Cook to bubbly. Serve over the hot spaghetti and sprinkle with cheese. This is also excellent made with scallops and/or chicken. serves 2
