Broccoli: St. Michael's Pasta

List of Ingredients
1 pound fresh broccoli -- cleaned and cut
1 pound pasta
1/2 cup cream
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic -- minced
Recipe
Place broccoli in salt, boiling water and cook until tender. Reserve water, remove broccoli and cool in ice water. Replace water on heat, add a small amount of oil, and let ir return to a boil. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook until tender; drain well and cool. Place broccoli in food processor and process with garlic and cream until smooth. Place the broccoli cream and butter in a medium saucepan and heat slowly, only until the butter is melted. Add salt and pepper and add pasta to the broccoli-cream. Reduce until nice and thick. Place finished pasta on a serving plate; sprinkle with cheese and grind some fresh pepper on top.
