Seafood: Summer Pasta with Grilled Shrimp

1 lb Medium shrimp
7 tb Olive oil
2 Cloves garlic minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 1/2 lb Tomatoes (about 3) cut in to 1/2" dice
3/4 c Chopped fresh basil
2 ts Balsamic or red wine vinegar
3/4 lb Linguine or other pasta
Recipe
In medium bowl combine shrimp, 1 Tbs. olive oil, half the minced garlic and the salt and pepper to taste. Light the grill. Thread the shrimp on skewers. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, remaining olive oil and garlic, that basil, the vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta until just done. Drain. Grill shrimp, turning once, until just done, about 3 minutes in all. Toss pasta with the shrimp and tomato mixture and serve. Serves 4
