Pizza Dough: Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

1 package dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup warm water
5 cups wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups water
1 tablespoon oil
Recipe
Dissolve yeast, then sugar in the warm water; let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in 4 c. flour, salt, water and oil, mixing well. Sprinkle remaining cup of flour on board. Pour dough onto board and knead for 10 minutes. Shape into ball and cover with a towel. Let rise until double, about 1 hour, then remove towel and punch down. Divide into 2 equal parts. The extra dough can be frozen for later use. Flatten into pizza pan. Top with favorite pizza toppings. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes.
