    1 pork shoulder roast
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon celery seed salad dressing
    1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/3 cup cider vinegar
    1/2 cup catsup
    2 tablespoons liquid Barbecue Smoke®
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1/8 teaspoon cayenne
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1 cup water

    Brown the roast in a skillet with a little olive oil (to sear the meat and seal in juices). Place in dutch oven. Place next 11 ingredients n saucepan and bring to a boil; pour over roast in the dutch oven and cover. Bake in a preheated 325ºF oven for 45 minutes per pound until well done. Baste occasionally as it bakes with pan drippings. Remove meat to cutting board and strip from bones; chop into small pieces. Stir into remaining pot ingredients and add more vinegar if needed, and a dash or two of hot sauce. Serve on buns or cornbread.
