List of Ingredients
3 cups chopped Maui onions
1 cup chopped scallions
4 tablespoons chopped shallots
3 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 cups chopped red onions
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup sherry wine
2 tablespoons chopped thyme
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 cups heavy cream
salt and white pepper to taste
Recipe
In medium size stock pot add olive (medium heat). Add chopped onions and garlic, stir for 1 minute. Cover onions with flour and stir until flour breaks down. Add white wine and sherry wine, (burn off alcohol). Add heavy cream and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes. Add thyme and parsley. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
