    Peanut: Adams House Peanut Butter Soup

    List of Ingredients

    2 tb Butter or margarine
    1/4 Onion, diced
    1 Celery rib, sliced thin
    2 tb Flour
    2 c Chicken broth
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 c Smooth peanut butter
    1 d Celery salt
    1 t Lemon juice
    2 tb Chopped salted peanuts

    Recipe

    Wilt onion and celery in butter. Add flour and mix well. Stir in chicken broth and cook 30 min. Remove from heat and strain. Stir salt, peanut butter, celery salt, and lemon juice into broth. Serve in bowls with chopped peanuts sprinkled over.
