    Beef: Beef and Bacon Chowder

    List of Ingredients

    12 strip bacon, cut into 1" pieces
    1 pound ground beef
    2 to 3 cups diced celery
    2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup -- undiluted
    4 cups milk
    3 to 4 cups diced peeled potatoes, cooked, drained
    2 cups carrots, cooked and drained
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    fresh chopped parsley

    Recipe

    In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp; pour off drippings and remove bacon to paper towel to drain. In the same skillet, cok ground beef with celery and onion until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender; drain. Add soup, milk, potatoes, carrots, bacon, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reducce heat and simmer until heated through. Garnish with parsley. Yield: 10-12 servings.
