Cheese: Cheesy Beer Soup

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound Velveeta, diced
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup beer
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
Recipe
In a large kettle cook finely chopped onion and crushed garlic clove in margarine until tender. Add diced processed cheese spread, milk, beer, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid hot pepper sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and smooth. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
