    Mushroom: Onion & Mushroom Soup

    List of Ingredients




    4 Tbsp butter
    1 med sweet onion Chopped
    2 cup mushrooms fresh, OR 8 oz can mushrooms, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup ( 11 oz can)
    1 Tbsp catsup
    1 can beef consomme (11 oz can)
    1 can tomato juice ( 6 oz can)
    3/4 cup heavy cream
    2 Tbsp parsley

    Recipe



    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Add other ingredients (setting aside cream and parsley) and bring to a boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Lower heat and simmer. Before serving, add cream and parsley.
