1 litre/4 cups broth
1 large yam
4 small potatoes
8 fresh garlic cloves
1 Tbls. salt or to taste
Recipe
Combine all the ingredients in a soup pot. Bring to a boil and continue to cook, stirring frequently until the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat.
Ladle into a blender and puree a small portion at a time.
Transfer pureed soup into a new pot to reheat before serving.
Garnish individual bowls of soup with a spiral of cream and a pinch of chopped parsley if desired.
