Quick Veal Romano

1 1/2 pounds small slices veal 1/4" thick
1 cup flour
1/2 pound prosciutto or Virginia ham
8 thin slices mozzarella
8 fresh sage leaves
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
Pound each slice veal to tenderize. Coat with flour. Layer 1 slice each of prosciutto and cheese and 1 sage leaf on each piece of veal. Roll up and secure with toothpick. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat until melted. Cool veal rolls, turning occasionally, till browned. Add wine; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and cook over medium-high heat for 4 minutes. Serves 4.
