Stroganoff: Hamburger Stroganoff 2

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 ounces mushroom pieces and stems, drained
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup -- undiluted
1 cup sour cream (8 oz)
POPPY SEED NOODLES:
8 ounces wide noodles, cooked and draine
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon butter, melted
chopped fresh parsley
Recipe
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion in butter until beef is browned and onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushroms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soup; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream; heat through but do not boil. Meanwhile, combine noodles, poppy seed and butter; toss lightly. Spoon stroganoff over noodles. Garnish with parsley. Yield: 6 servings. Recipe by: Jutta Doering
