All wrapping material and containers for refrigerator or freezer should be moister proof. For freezing, use heavy duty aluminum foil or freezer paper or heavy duty plastic bags. Wrap food snugly, pressing out as much air as possible (or vacuum seal). For freezing liquids, allow for expansion upon freezing by leaving 1-2 inches above the top of the liquid. For labeling, record the recipe name, number of servings, cooking or reheating instructions, and date by which food should be used.
