    Cherry Chutney

    List of Ingredients

    2 1/2 lb Pitted cherries fresh or frozen
    1 cup Diced yellow onion
    2 tbl Minced fresh ginger
    1 1/2 cup White sugar
    1/4 tsp Mustard seed
    1/4 tsp Celery seed
    1/8 tsp Ground allspice
    1/2 tsp Ground coriander
    1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp Dried red pepper flakes
    1 tsp Salt
    1 1/2 cup White wine vinegar

    Recipe

    * Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 1 hour or until a little syrupy. Remove from heat and sauce will thicken as it cools. Serve warm or at room temperature.
    * Serves 4.
