Jam: Jumbleberry Jam

2 cups strawberries
2 cups blackberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup cranberries
3 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice

* Note; you can use frozen berries for this recipe.. if doing so, thaw berries before making recipe. Prepare preserving jars. Combine berries and sugar in preserving pot. Mash thoroughly with potato masher. Add lemon juice. Bring to boil over medium heat and simmer, stirring often, 20-25 minutes, or until thickened. Test for set if desired. Remove from heat. Stir and skim off foam if needed. Pour jam into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2" head space. Wipe rims clean. Seal according to manufacturer's directions. Process jars in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Makes 4-5 8-oz jars.
