Brownie: Chocolate Brownie Mix

3 3/4 cups sugar
2 1/3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups shortening
Recipe
Combine the dry ingredients and then cut in the shortening. Store in airtight container. Makes 10 cups, for 4 pans of brownies.
To prepare, measure 2 1/2 c. mix in bowl. Mix in 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla and mix well. Spread into 8x8 pan. Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes.
