Dr. Weil's Basic Tossed Salad

List of Ingredients
8 cups mixed salad greens, wash and dry
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic (optional)
salt and black pepper to tasteRecipe
Place greens in large bowl. Add enough olive oil to coat lightly but thoroughly. Toss well. Add salt and pepper to taste and a little vinegar. Toss agan and taste to determine ifyou need more vinegar or seasoning; toss well. If you use garlic, crush it intothe first portion of vinegar added. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
