List of Ingredients
SALAD:
1 head lettuce
1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 16 ounce can kidney beans, drained
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced green onion
1 can olives, sliced
1 avocado, diced
1 package tortilla chips, crushed
SAUCE:
8 ounces thousand island salad dressing
1 tablespoon dry taco seasoning
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1/3 cup sugarRecipe
Wash lettuce and tear into bite size pieces. Brown, drain and cool ground meat. Combine all salad ingredients except taco chips. Set aside. Combine all sauce ingredients, then pour over salad and toss thoroughly. Immediately before serving, add taco chips.
