Pasta/Potato: Oriental Potato Salad

1 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
5 cups sliced, cooked potatoes
1 1/2 cups celery, diagonally sliced
1 cup water chestnuts (8-ounce can), drained and sliced
1 cup thinly sliced green onions

In large bowl combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, salt and hot pepper sauce. Add potatoes, celery, water chestnuts and onions; toss to coat. Cover; chill to blend flavors. Spoon salad onto lettuce-lined platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serves 8.
