    Recipe by: Beth Philson, Lincoln, Nebraska. "In this recipe, Dijon mustard adds a new twist to a traditional vinaigrette dressing. Olive oil gives it great flavor, but I have used vegetable oil in a pinch."

    List of Ingredients




    2/3 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
    1/3 cup red wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon sugar

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in a jar with tight fitting lid; shake until blended. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 1 cup.
