"Kicked Up" Italian Salad Dressing

original poster's note: This will take bottled Italian salad dressing to another level, you may find yourself making this all the time and it also makes a great marinade/tenderizer substituting honey for sugar and omitting the salt, plan ahead this must be refrigerated for 24 hours before using
For a creamy dressing add in 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or to taste, for Parmesan Italian dressing add in 2-4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, recipe may be doubled although I would not recommend to double the garlic you may however want to use a larger garlic clove
List of Ingredients
1 cup bottled Italian salad dressing
1 small garlic clove ; minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil (rubbed between you fingers to release the flavors)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon corn syrup (can use sugar)
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper or to taste
salt, optionalRecipe
In a bowl whisk all ingredients together until blended.
Refrigerate for 24 hours
