Lime Pear Jello Salad

1 cup boiling water
2 cups pears, drained and chopped -- reserve liquid
1 package lime jello
3/4 cup cottage cheeseRecipe
In medium bowl, combine water and pear juice. Add gelatin. Mix well to dissolve jello. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Stir in cottage cheese and whip with wire whisk til fluffy. Add pears; mix gently to combine. Pour into 8x8 dish. Refrigerate til set, about 4 hours. When serving, cut into 6 pieces.
