Breakfast: Apple Breakfast Sandwich

1/8 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 pack large refrigerated biscuit
4 ounces grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 large granny smith apples, peel, core, chop
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and melted butter. Stir well and set aside. (The mixture will resemble a moist paste.) Place the biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet and press out to form circles about 3 inches in diameter. Sprinkle the cheese over the biscuit dough. Sprinkle the apples over the cheese. Then, using your fingers, scatter the butter mixture on each biscuit. Bake for 15 minutes. Makes 5 sandwiches.
