1 cup light molasses
5 or 6 thin orange slices, halvedRecipe
In a small saucepan combine molasses and orange slices. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove orange slices. Cool syrup slightly. Serve warm. Cover and refrigerate remaining syrup for up to 1 week. Makes 1 cup.
