Bourbon-Spiked Butterscotch Sauce

3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon bourbon -- (1-2)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch saltRecipe
Simmer corn syrup, sugar, heavy cream and butter in saucepan for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in bourbon, vanilla and salt. Cool. Skim top; pour into sterilized jars. Refrigerate for up to 1 month. Makes: 2 1/3 cups.
