    2 cans sweetened condensed milk
    2 tablespoons amaretto
    2/3 cup whole almonds, toasted and coarsely chopped

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Pour sweetened condensed milk into a 7x11 inch baking dish; cover with aluminum foil. Place dish in a larger pan. Add hot water to larger pan to come halfway up sides of dish. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until caramel-colored. Allow to cool, then stir in amaretto and almonds. Store in refrigerator. Serve over pound cake, ice cream, sliced fruit or brownies. Makes about 3 cups of sauce.
