    Source of Recipe

    fooddownunder.com

    List of Ingredients

    7/8 cup reduced fat Bisquick
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    2 tbl soy margarine
1/4 tsp mixed dried herbs more if fresh or thyme, garlic, pepper, and lemon peel
1/8 tsp salt (optional) see note
1/4 tsp dried mustard may be doubled
2 tbl reduced fat feta cheese with basil and tomato crumbled
    4 x kalamata olives prepared

    ADD LAST:
2 tbl lowfat buttermilk or as needed

    Recipe

    * Pit and chop the olives. Towel dry.

    * Fit the bowl of a food processor with the metal blade. Place all ingredients except the milk in the bowl in the order listed. Pulse to combine to a coarse crumb (no more than 5 seconds). Do not over-process. Measure the buttermilk. Turn on the machine and add the milk in a slow steady stream through the feed tube. Stop machine when dough forms a ball: about 3 seconds.

    * Knead lightly on a lightly floured or cornmealed surface. Roll out to a thickness of 3/4-inch and cut into 4 or 6 squares.

    * Place on nonstick baking sheet and bake in preheated oven 425F for 12 minutes until golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes. Serve.

    * NOTES : TIP: The cheese, olives, bisquick, and soy margarine are salty. We did not add more salt during our test.
