    4 cups mashed potatoes
    8 ounces sour cream
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    1 teaspoon dried chives or 1 tbl. fresh
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
    1 tablespoon butter, melted
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, combine potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, chives and garlic powder. Turn into a greased 2-quart casserole. Combine breadcrumbs with butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350ºF for 50 to 60 minutes. Top with cheese and serve immediately. Dish can be assembled a day ahead and baked just before serving.
