1/8 cup butter
1/4 cup orzo
1/2 cup rice
1/2 can chicken broth + water to make 1 cup

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add orzo and stir until orzo browns slightly. Keep your eye on it, since the orzo darkens quickly once it starts to brown. Add rice and liquid. Stir well, cover, and simmer about 20 minutes.
