    List of Ingredients




    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
    1 cup orzo pasta (1/2 lb)
    1 teaspoon salt
    black pepper
    1/4 cup assorted fresh herbs (basil, parsley, thyme)
    3 1/2 cups chicken stock
    1/4 cup chopped smoked sausage
    1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

    Recipe



    Heat oil in a saucepan and add onions, garlic, orzo, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in herbs and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in sausage and butter.
