    Pesto Orzo with Peas

    1 cup uncooked orzo pasta (rice shaped)
    1 1/2 cups frozen sweet peas
    1/4 cup purchased pesto
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 dash pepper

    Recipe



    In large saucepan, cook pasta as directed on package, adding peas during last 4-6 minutes of cooking time. Cook until orzo and peas are tender. Drain orzo and peas; place in serving dish. Add pesto; toss gently to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serves 5. To make into main course, could also add in sauteed marinated artichoke hearts and cubed feta cheese.
