    1 1/3 cups flour
    1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/3 cup milk
    2 tablespoons oil
    8 ounces cream corn
    1 12 ounces wh kernel corn, drained

    Recipe



    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In medium bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, oil and cream style corn. Blend in dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Stir in whole kernel corn. In deep fat fryer or heavy saucepan drop better by tablespoonfuls and fry in 2-3 inches hot fat (365ºF) for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Serve warm. Makes 28 fritters.
