Crisps/Chips: Baked Herbed Pita Crisps

olive oil spray
2 whole wheat pitas
1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Coat baking sheet with the olive oil spray. With a sharp knife, cut around the perimeter of each pita, separating into two rounds; cut each round into 8 triangles. Arrange, cut sides up, on the baking sheet. Spray with olive oil spray and sprinkle with the herbs, along with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven until bread is crisp and golden, 5-7minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature. Crisps can be stored in plastic bag at room temperature for 1 day. To recrisp, heat in a 350 degrees oven for about 5 minutes. Serves 4.
