    Nuts: Sherried Walnuts & Cashews

    2 tbl Brown sugar
    1/4 tsp Cinnamon
    1/4 cup Dry sherry
    2 tbl Corn syrup
    2 tbl Butter
    2 cup Walnut halves
    2 cup Cashew halves

    Recipe



    * Heat oven to 250 F. Line 15x10x1 inch baking pan with foil. In large skillet, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, sherry, corn syrup and butter.
    * Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in walnuts and cashews; cook and stir 4 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Spread nuts on foil lined pan.
    * Bake at 250 F for 15 to 20 minutes or until glazed. Cool completely on foil. Store tightly covered.
    * Yield 4 cups
