1 can red kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can chick peas
3/4 cup bbq sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons mustard
Recipe
Drain the beans. In a saucepan or casserole combine beans, barbecue sauce, sugar, and mustard. Simmer [cook over medium low heat so surface is bubbling but not rapidly] on stove top over low heat for 15 to 60 minutes (longer time yields better flavor). Or bake in a 350¼F oven for 30 to 60 minutes; uncover for the last 15 minutes to thicken sauce. YIELD: 6 servings
