    Snack: Garlic Bread Lunch

    List of Ingredients

    1 loaf sourdough bread, unsliced (can use French or Italian as well)
    1/2 cup softened butter
    crushed garlic (or can use garlic powder) to taste
    cayenne pepper (to taste)
    crushed Italian herbs or Parsley to taste
    favorite spaghetti sauce

    Recipe

    Mix the softened butter with herbs. Slice the sourdough bread in half lengthwise, without cutting all the way thru the bottom crust. Slice into desired size pieces horizontally, again not cutting all the way thru the bottom crust. Now spread the flavored butter onto the cut surfaces of the bread. Wrap the bread in foil and bake in oven (about 350 to 375 degrees) until it is as crispy as you desire. Once cooked, separate bread into pieces, and serve dipped in warmed spaghetti sauce.
