3 Tb cooking oil
2 cups canned tomatoes with puree
1 lb ground beef
1 Tb chili powder (1 to 2)
1 clove garlic mashed
salt and pepper
2 medium onions sliced
1 can red kidney beans

Saute the onions and garlic in the oil. Add the ground beef and brown. Pour out any excess fat. Add the kidney beans, chili powder, tomatoes and salt and pepper. Simmer until uniform and thick., about 1 hour.
