Potato: Baked Potatoes with Toppings

List of Ingredients
4 medium baking potatoes -- (1 1/2 pounds)
Toppings -- (below)
Heat oven to 400ºF. Pierce potatoes with fork to allow steam to escape. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until tender. Cut an x in top of each potato. gently squeeze potato from bottom to force potato open. Serve with desired toppings. Can bake potatoes ahead of time and put toppings into ziplock or small tupperware containers. Reheat potato in microwave and then prepare with desired toppings.

TOPPING IDEAS:
Ranch Bacon Cheese
1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled, drained
3 green onions, thin sliced (include greens)
1/3 cup favorite ranch salad dressing
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion on potato. Spoon on desired amount of dressing.
Cheesy Broccoli
1/2 cup cheez whiz or melted velveeta
1/2 cup steamed broccoli florets
Combine broccoli and cheese; spoon over potato.
Chili Cheese
1/2 to 3/4 cup chili (without beans)
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
Spoon hot chili over potato, sprinkle with cheese.
Taco
1/4 pound ground beef
1/4 package taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup diced tomato
3 green onions, thin sliced (include greens)
chopped black olives, drained
sour cream
picante sauce
Combine beef with taco seasoning; brown and drain. Stir with desired amount of picante sauce. Spoon over hot potato, then top with cheddar, tomato and olives. Top with sour cream.
Italian
1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce heated
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese ( 1 ounce)
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan Cheese
Spoon spaghetti sauce, onto potatoes. Sprinkle with cheeses.
Mexican
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
4 green onions sliced
Mix sour cream and salsa; spoon onto potatoes. Sprinkle with onions.
Bavarian
3/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
3/4 cup chopped fully cooked smoked ham
4 green onions sliced
Mix sour cream, mustard and dill weed; spoon onto potatoes. Sprinkle with ham and onion.
