    Snack: Buttery Swiss Canapes

    16 ounce Swiss cheese shredded
    1 cup Butter softened
    1/4 cup Chopped green onions
    2 tablespoon Prepared mustard
    2 tablespoon Poppy seeds
    16 ounce French Bread or Italian Bread, cut in 32 slices

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine the cheese, butter, green onions, mustard and poppy seeds in a medium mixing bowl and mix well. Spread some of the cheese mixture on each of the bread slices. Arrange the slices in a single layer on an 11 x 17-inch baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 32 servings May chill the cheese mixture and serve with assorted party crackers.
